Coyote River Band - Bio

When Alfred Grabka, bass player for Coyote River Band, decided to put together a new country band, he had a clear idea of what he wanted the band to be like. His number one criterion was that there would be excellent chemistry between band members, first and foremost, and that, if there was chemistry, out of that would flow great music. He knew that if the audience could see, feel, and hear that the band members had a connection with each other, and shared the common goal to make fantastic music, this would be infectious and people listening and watching would be assured of a great entertainment experience.

With lush vocals and a solid band, Coyote River Band is invested in producing great renditions of songs from contemporary country artists and bands including Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Jason Aldean to name few. Future plans for this band, which is in its infancy, are to begin adding original music into the mix of great songs that they cover. With the collection of creative talent and musical experience assembled, collaborations on original material will be joyously inevitable.

Annmarie Volpert is one of two lead vocalists in the band and has been singing since the age of two. Her powerful voice and spunky, uninhibited stage presence are the sparks that help ignite the music and keep the audience engaged in every song. Whether its a ballad or a hard driving, upbeat country rocker, Annmarie puts her unique spin on each song. Lead vocalist Dave Warner is a perfect partner in vocals for Annmarie and a great singer in his own right. Dave has shared his musical talents generously at his church for years and is now pursuing a personal dream of being a part of another kind of musical family with the Coyotes. His sense of humor and love of the music come through loud and clear when he interprets songs written by some of today's most engaging songwriters like Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban.

A solid back-up band completes the Coyote River Band sound with four veteran musicians, including Alfred Grabka mentioned above, providing inventive bass lines to underscore every type and feel of song played. Ken Rose, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist covers guitar with hard driving leads. Ken has been in several bands over the years playing everything from Folk to Alt-Rock. Stanley Kokoska completes the Coyote River Band sound with a rock solid foundation of exquisite drumming, the feel of every song captured perfectly, and an exceptional ability to deliver the songs message in the language of rhythm.
