Coyote River Band Biography
The original concept for CRB was established in 2010 by Alfred (Alfi) the founder of Coyote River Band. His vision was clear. Build a band with great chemistry and from that chemistry would flow great music and a better band/audience connection. Alfred has succeeded by bringing together a rock solid foundation of musicianship and blended it with 3 part vocal harmonies, great song selections and an energetic stage show guaranteed to provide an unforgettable live experience.
A fast forward to 2012 found Coyote River Band adding new members to the family. This infusion proved to be a great asset to CRB bringing fresh ideas, solid instrumental skills and rich vocals. These highly talented people will give the audience a top-notch entertainment experience fusing high energy with dynamic renditions of songs the audience knows and loves.

I wasn’t always a singer; drums have
been a passion of mine. I started playing drums when I was
16 years old. I never took a lesson or played in a band
professionally but ended up playing drums for New Life
Fellowship Church in my hometown of Plainville, Ct.
Being raised a Catholic, I never knew
of any church that had instruments in it except an organ. I
was sold at that point, playing drums to high praise and
then settling it down to a beautiful worship since 1993 to
present.
As far as singing, I always liked
singing and harmonizing but always battled the loud monitor
in front of my drums which makes it hard to hear my voice
when being over powered by instruments. Also I have never
gotten over the fact that I am still intimidated by
other great singers. I like all kinds of music but if I had
to pick a genre of music it would be Country. It’s just so
real to me.

Renee Morehouse
Gravitating towards singing at a
young age, Renee displayed obvious talent while singing
in the church choir. She continued to hone her craft
playing with local CT bands City Lights, Galaxy Dance
Band and Byte This while simultaneously working in the
studio and performing voice overs.
With the goal of becoming CT's premier 80's band, she
formed CafeB with her high school friends and dominated
the circuit for the past 11 years. While fully committed
to Cafe B, Renee was often called in to perform with
other bands Nightwatch, Airborne Jazz Band and The
Happening, just to name a few.
While primarily focused on rock and roll, Renee
noticed that the best songwriting, production and
harmonies were coming out of Nashville and made the
decision to lend her talent and experience to the Coyote
River Band as a full time member.
Renee's impressive singing and total command of the
stage make her a pleasure to watch and hear. P.S. -
Renee doesn't text.

Jason Hendry (JBone)
Jason is not a guitar
player, he is a guitar enthusiast. He is happy to play or
tear apart guitars and amps all day long. Jason played in
bands on and off since 1986. Happiest being sideman, always
preferring to serve the song instead of seeking the
spotlight. Fortunate to have played with some of the best
musicians on the best stages for the best audiences in
Connecticut and elsewhere.

Brandon Novak
Brandon is
thrilled to be a part of the Coyote River Band family. A
Connecticut native, Brandon has been playing drums since he
was 10. Having grown up playing in concert and marching
bands – including the multi-award winning Shelton High
School drum line – Brandon began playing in rock bands at
15.
Over the years, Brandon has been in several local bands
playing the Hartford and Southern Connecticut club circuit.
After taking some time off to start a family and this being
his first venture into country music, Brandon can’t wait to
awaken his creative side and apply it to a new musical
outlet.
When Brandon is away from his drums, he enjoys spending time
with his awesome family, cooking, gardening and “fiddling”
around the house. |

Alfred Grabka
For Alfred
all started back in Poland where he was born and raised. He
and his friends decided to form a garage band and because
nobody else wanted to play bass guitar he was forced to play
bass. After few years of hard work, his band “ASD” became a
very well known band in his city and also nationally. In
1981 “ASD” qualified as one of Top New Acts at the Polish
Festival of Music in Opole, Poland.
In the USA
in 80’s and 90’s he played in Top 40 bands and he enjoined
playing variety of music like Rock, R&B, Funk, Motown,
and Soul. In 2000’s before he formed Coyote River Band he
played smooth jazz in “After Five Jazz” quintet and it was a
fun project to be in.
In 2009 he
fell in love with the new Country music and that’s how the
creation of Coyote River Band began.
